Canterbury Fine Art is delighted to present Inspired by Place, an exhibition bringing together the vibrant paintings of Mike Bernard RI and Jenny Wheatley RWS NEAC.
Drawing inspiration from their travels, observations, and experiences, both artists explore the unique character and atmosphere of the places they encounter. Through expressive collage, rich textures, and confident use of colour, they create works that move beyond simple representation to capture the essence and spirit of a location.
From coastal harbours and historic towns to landscapes both near and far, this collection celebrates the beauty through two distinctive artistic visions, united by a shared passion for colour, texture, and a connection to the places that inspire them.
